Colin Kaepernick and his company Inked Flash has reportedly filed for the trademark to a black and white image of his face and afro.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, the filing, which showed up on the website for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Wednesday but was filed last Friday, says the intent is to use the image on everything from shampoo and hairspray to jewelry and lampshades.

Additionally, the filing states the image could be used in association with "providing classes, workshops seminars and camps in the field of self empowerment and awareness to properly interact with law enforcement" as well as in association with "production of television shows and films."

Last month, the former quarterback filed an application to trademark his signature "I'm With Kap" slogan for use on jerseys, shirts, hoodies, caps and other apparel. He has already sold black #7 football jerseys with "#ImWithKap" written across the front and his name across the back, with 20% of proceeds going to Know Your Rights Camp, a free campaign for youth funded by Kaepernick to raise awareness on self-empowerment and interacting with law enforcement.

Rovell notes that Kaepernick had been with Nike since 2011, but the company recently re-signed him to a new deal that reportedly includes a small apparel collection.
