There are no signs of slowing down for Miguel. Having just finished up a Spring Tour, the "Pineapple Skies" singer has just announced a whole string of tour dates for his North American Ascension Tour, featuring OVO's dvsn. The musical journey will be based off his last album, War & Leisure.
"War & Leisure has political undertones because that’s what life feels like right now," Miguel said of the tape. "This album is intentionally about the ethos right now, that we are right in the middle of all this. We’re trying to flourish in the middle of all this. We all wake up, and it’s time to be creative and amazing and positive and all the things that we’re supposed to be when you look on Instagram, but then we’re dealing with these same problems, this injustice, wars between politicians with egos."
The anticipated stops will see Miguel and his crew hit up 26 venues as well as stopping off at AFROPUNK in Brooklyn, North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, and Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas.
Tickets go on sale on June 22nd here. Check out the full dates below.
