Menswear label Public School NY is teaming up with Nike again for a special Air Force 1 collection that features premium materials, exposed stitching and an overall deconstructed look, similar to those ever-popular Off-White x Air Jordan 1s.
According to Nike, the makeshift Air Force 1s were actually designed last year by PSNY's Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne in honor of the AF1's 35th anniversary. Next month, the limited edition kicks will release in a trio of colorways; white, black and grey.
Each of the sneakers are constructed with parts from the Air Force 1 Low, Air Force 1 Mid and Air Force 1 High, using the unaltered pattern parts to reconstruct a Frankenstien version of the iconic sneaker.
The PSNY x Air Force 1, retailing for $200 each, will initially release on September 4 at PSNY's pop-up shop located at 3 Howard Street in NYC, followed by a global drop on September 5. It's unclear exactly how many pairs will be available but you can bet they'll be just as limited as previous PSNY collabs with the Jordan Brand.
