Needless to say, it was an awkward moment.

In the past few months, Drake and Meek Mill officially squashed their beef and linked up on wax for the first time since their beef 2015 on "Going Bad" off of CHAMPIONSHIPS. What was likely the worst part of the feud is how radio-friendly "Back To Back" was. It wasn't just a diss track, but an infectious Drake record that dominated the streets and the radio. During Meek's recent CRWN interview with Elliot Wilson, Meek Mill recalled Hov accidentally slipping the record on during a dinner date.

Meek Mill took a stroll down memory lane during his interview with Elliot Wilson and recalled the awkward dinner date he had with Jay-Z and Beyonce. The rapper revealed that Jay-Z was in charge of holding down the music selection. Unfortunately, HOV accidentally played "Back To Back" while they were all eating.

"I was with Nicki and shit. We goin' out -- Hov and Beyoncé were like, 'Come out to eat with us.' I'm from the hood. Hov and Beyonce like 'Come eat with us.' I'm like damn, I'm 'bout to date Hov and Beyonce right now, this shit is incredible," he recalled. "Hov got the playlist and he's clicking through shit and 'Back to Back' come on by mistake while we're at the table. I'm like, 'Oh shit. What the fuck?' So Beyonce, Hov and Nicki, everybody just lookin' like they don't know what the fuck goin' on. I got to take a shit now. I'm like, 'God damn, the fuck?' I don't even know if they remember that, but shit, I remembered that."

Meek covered an array of topics during his recent sit down with Elliot Wilson including his latest album CHAMPIONSHIPS and more. Peep the full interview below on TIDAL.
