With New York making a heavy resurgence over the past few years, there's a lot of new acts to be keeping an eye on. Thutmose is one of the most promising voices coming out of the Big Apple these days and 2019 is already looking like it has a lot in store for him. The rapper recently appeared on the Spider-Man: Enter The Spider-Verse soundtrack and now, he follows it up with his new single, "Wait Up."
With Valentine's Day a few weeks away, Thutmose comes through with an essential track to add to the holiday's playlist with "Wait Up." The rapper flexes his melodies and bars over Avedon's production. Thutmose's latest song proves that he's readying for a major year ahead of him.
The release of "Wait Up" arrives a few days before he hits the road as MadeinTYO's opening act on the "Sincerely, Tokyo" tour. Thutmose will be joining him on the North American dates which kicks off on Jan. 24 in Vancouver before concluding in Chicago on March 1st.

But it’s hard to be nice
With a bad girl like you
Babe I’m racing against time
