More films are tapping relevant talent and names to help bring the film's soundtrack to life. We saw Kendrick Lamar curate Black Panther: The Album and Future executive produce the Superfly soundtrack earlier this year. Now, Mike WiLL Made-It has been tapped to curate the Creed II soundtrack.

Mike Will Made-It's worked with everyone from Beyoncé to Lil Wayne and now, he could add executive producer of the Creed II soundtrack to his list. Variety reports that Mike Will Made-It will curate and executive produce the soundtrack for Creed II while collaborating with Lugwig Göransso as well as music supervisors Fam Rothstein and Jen Malone for the film's music.

“I approached the music by first watching ‘Creed II’ and then creating a playlist of songs people could work out to, chill to, vibe to or to get them through any struggle which matched specific scenes in the movie,” the producer said. “It’s important to show the new generation that soundtracks can be just as exciting as traditional albums if put in the hands of the right curator. After people hear the music, I want them to say movie soundtracks are back.”

“I’ve always been a fan of Mike WiLL’s production. I knew we were in store for something crazy and refreshing when we brought him in to curate the ‘Creed II’ soundtrack.” said Michael B. Jordan, who stars as Adonis "Donnie" Johnson Creed in the film.

The film's tracklist is set to be revealed by Interscope Records in the coming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
