Jackson is unimpressed with people who criticized his tweet.

Last week, Samuel L. Jackson tweeted something that has offended a large group of people. Now, although Jackson is currently starring in The Incredibles 2, anyone who is familiar with the actor's work should know that he says whatever he wants. We're talking about the guy that made the word motherf***er famous. It would be foolish to follow Jackson on any form of social media if you find yourself easily offended. In a tweet that has since been deemed controversial, Jackson took shots at Mitch McConnel, Paul Ryan, and Rudy Giuliani. The tweet featured a picture of a novelty breath mint called "After Dick Mints." "Must have been a party at The White House, Mitch, Paul, Rudy & others were spotted wearing knee pads & carrying these lined up outside," wrote Jackson.

Several fans of the actor began to criticize his tweet, claiming that he was gay bashing or spreading a homophobic narrative. As expected, Jackson could care less what anyone says, and he took to social media to taunt his opposers. The legendary actor posted a screenshot of a message from Twitter to his Instagram. “We have investigated the reported content and could not identify any violations of the Twitter Rules or applicable law,” the message stated. “Accordingly, we have not taken any action at this time.” Jackson followed the image with a caption that starts with a lengthy trail of laughter before he wrote, "They just keep tryin’,” boastfully antagonizing those who reported his tweet.
