Both Drake and the Migos have dropped their own albums this year in Scorpion and Culture II respectively. In just a few days, we'll be hearing the first taste of solo Quavo as he prepares to drop Quavo Huncho. However, the three Atlanta superstars and Drake might be working on even more. From the sounds of it, we might be receiving a collaborative mixtape between the Migos and Drizzy Drake. At least, that's what Quavo is hinting at in his latest GQ feature.
The Migos member went undercover with GQ, creating social media accounts to interact with fans during the lead-up to his new album. One of the first things that he responded to was a question from a fan who pondered whether or not the ATL artists would link with Drake for a collaborative mixtape anytime soon. His answer was remarkably telling as he uttered, "You must be a psychic. If that don't tell you something I don't know what to tell you." Any way you look at this, the artist is basically confirming a project on the way involving all four parties.
Drake and Migos' joint tour has been plagued by date cancellations and postponed shows, leaving a bad taste in the mouth of a few fans. Quavo says that if the tape releases, it will be after the culmination of the tour, which only makes sense. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for his solo effort this week.
