The Legends are upgrading their lifestyle.
According to Page Six, John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen, who both welcomed Miles Theodore, their second child, have spent a whopping $9.02 million on a penthouse at 374 Broome St. in Nolita, New York.
Judging by the description, the home is modest, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and is located in a building called the Brewster Carriage House, where they used to live. The penthouse comes with a private, landscaped roof terrace – equipped with an outdoor kitchen – and is accessed from the living area by a copper-railing staircase with a “sculptural glass bulkhead,” Page Six reported. The description of the house includes a gas fireplace, 13-foot ceilings, oversized windows and exposed brick.
By the sounds of it, it’s meant to be a practical habitat, with winged master bedrooms on either side of the living area. Which means they can have some privacy.
The couple also has a daughter named Luna, who just turned 2.
John Legend has been just wrapped up a TV project. The singer starred in, and executive-produced, a live broadcast of the NBC musical, Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. And Teigen has blossomed as a loveable lifestyle personality. Her recent Instagram post see her in her kitchen standing in the giant, mesh postpartum underpants with the caption “If you haven’t seen @aliwong’s new Netflix special, you are bad at picking Netflix specials #asianpearunderwear”
