Adult Swim's hit series Rick & Morty is on a long hiatus. Fans are used to the extended wait in between seasons, but this delay has by far been the most unbearable. What makes this break different from the others, is in the past, fans were speculative if the show would return. Now that Adult Swim has ordered 70 episodes of the cartoon, fans are eager to see what creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland are cooking up. Not to mention the cliffhanger at the end of season three, which sets up chaos for seasons to come.
Before we get a new season of Rick & Morty, Harmon and Roiland have released outtakes from the infamous "Pickle Rick" episode. The outtakes are centered around a line Pickle Rick says to Morty at the beginning of the episode. Rick, who is played by Roiland, is suspected of turning himself into a pickle to skip therapy by Morty. Responding to his grandson, Rick flips the script. “I understand Morty's suspicion, I've misled him before. Morty, turn me so we’re making eye contact," says Rick before breaking down in laughter.
The outtakes animate Roiland's voice acting from the booth, making it appear like the blooper occurs in the show. He can't seem to get over the fact that Rick continues to manipulate Morty, even as he's admitting to it. Check out the hilarious clip below.
