Rapper Wale attends H.O.M.E by Martell, Chicago, on October 26, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois.
Out this Friday.

In late August, Wale teased the idea of possibly retiring after he tweeted, "Let’s all celebrate my last few months as a recording artist." The tweet was in response to a fan who said that they could see him in Wale getting into film. It seems unlikely that he'll be taking a step back from music any time soon especially since he just announced a new project.

Wale fans are in luck as he has a new project coming out this week. The rapper took to Twitter to announce his forthcoming project, Free Lunch as well as the September 14th release date. Free Lunch will mark his third EP of the year following May's Self Promotion and March's It's Complicated

Following the announcement of his project, Wale tweeted, "Every day I get online and I see the craziest shyt about me, I don’t want to care but I do. The music gives me peace. FreeLunch." If this tweet is an indication of what to expect, Wale might have a few things to get off his chest on Free Lunch.

The influx of projects from Wale this year comes after he announced his new partnership with MMG and Warner Bros. While we've appreciated the EP's that he's dropped off, fans are eagerly awaiting for the follow up to 2017's SHiNE.
