"You my son, go to bed son."

New Orleans Saints star wide receiver Michael Thomas stayed up into the wee hours of the morning calling out Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman after last night's 43-19 victory. Norman was one of several Redskins players to criticize Thomas after the Monday night blowout.

A reporter from the Washington Post relayed the following quote from Norman regarding Thomas, "That guy -- to speak on him, I will not waste my breath. I'm sorry. I will not. He's not worthy of it. He never will be worthy of it." Thomas quickly clapped back on twitter, "made that boy check out after the first half."

According to ESPN, in a tweet that has since been deleted, Norman responded by accusing Thomas of "clout chasing," followed by the clown emoji. He also stated that Thomas did not have a reception when the two lined up against each other and called Thomas a "blocking decoy."

In addition to Norman's comments, safety D.J. Swearinger and cornerback Quinton Dunbar also had some things to say about Thomas during the post-game.

"[Thomas] is just a clown -- just clowning," D.J. Swearinger said, per ESPN. "Just doing little petty stuff after the play. Petty stuff after the play the referees would call if this wasn't history night for Drew Brees. But we had to fight against the refs and all that, too."

"He was just doing little slick s--- after the plays, tapping you and doing little crazy stuff after the play trying to get you going," Dunbar said. "Pushing, hitting, talking -- doing all that."

Thomas, who had four catches for 74 yards in the win, fired off several tweets directed at Norman, who he referred to as a "Zone corner," "my son" and a "goof ball con artist" among other things.
