It's a well-known fact that the Kardashians have a long history of cursing basketball players, whether they intend to or not. Lamar Odom is the ground-zero example of this, he dated Khloe Kardashian for years (she has since moved on to Tristan Thompson, which is a whole other story). Then there was Kris Humphries, who was waived from the roster of the Sixers last year, four years after his break-up with Kim Kardashian.
But now there's a new generation in the Kardashian clan who have been given different last names and so maybe, they have also not been given the magic powers of their older sisters. Kylie Jenner's baby-daddy, Travis Scott, has only become more famous since being with her and Kendell Jenner attended a Sixers game on Sunday, perhaps hoping to curse her on-again-off-again boyfriend Ben Simmons, but failing. Simmons scored 20 points on the game, which is not bad for him, shot eight for eleven (73% !!!) and grabbed 12 boards (he reached a double-double in the first half). This is, by anyone's standards, a pretty good night of basketball. Add that to the fact that Simmons was put on the cover of the Australia edition of NBA 2K19 after his rookie year where–don't forget–he got shut down in the playoffs. Not bad. Maybe the curse has been lifted.
