Yesterday, it was reported that Casanova had all intentions on turning himself over alleged assault charges. As the story goes, a woman by the name of Niya Rucker alleged that the rapper and his crew thought she was filming them, and proceeded to attack her; she reportedly required four stitches after the assault, which left her nursing a broken jaw. The victim's account on events is disturbing to say the least, and can be seen in the news report below.
Now, TMZ has confirmed that Casanova has officially turned himself in, and is currently facing a second degree felony robbery charge. It's unclear whether or not the charges will continue to grow, or if his entourage has been hit with any. For now, the story simply confirms that the rapper is indeed paying some level of consequences for his alleged actions.
Casanova has since denied the allegations. Stay tuned for more details on this developing story.
