Jeff Goldblum's shirtless moment in the first Jurassic Park film may be the funniest Meme to come from the movie. Goldblum, who played Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park, The Lost World, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, was transformed into the hilarious Meme years ago. Now, UK streaming service Now TV has chosen to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s dinosaur flick by erecting a large statue of Ian Malcolm's shirtless scene.
Chilling in his iconic pose, the statue stands at nearly ten feet tall and 23 feet long according to CNet. It took over six weeks and 250 hours to create. The statue sits just out front of the famous Tower Bridge in London, England. It is estimated to weight about 331 lbs. Goldblum was asked about his iconic and hilarious shirtless meme, and told Yahoo Entertainment, “It’s supposed to be Costa Rica, right? So things are hot and I’m sure I’m in some sort of fever. All the logic is that we got to get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don’t think anybody fought me on that.” The actor is set to reprise his role as Ian Malcolm one more time for the last film in the Jurassic World trilogy.
