Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place for the 92nd time in New York City later this month. The annual food-filled holiday brings families from across the nation together. Many of those families take part in the tradition of watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The hour and a half long parade is filled with balloons and floats, and this year will be no different. According to BusinessWire, this year's parade will feature 16 giant balloons, 43 novelty balloons, 26 floats, 1,200 cheerleaders and dancers, over 1,000 clowns, and 12 marching bands. Among all the madness will be a handful of performances.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, John Legend and Diana Ross will be performing during the festivities. Ross is set to perform a song from her new Christmas album, and will be joined on a float by her children Tracee Ellis Ross and Evan Ross. Bad Bunny, Ella Mai, Rita Ora, Kane Brown, Martina McBride, Pentatonix, Sugarland, and Anika Noni Rose are also slated to appear for the holiday celebration. The line up continues to include the Muppets of Sesame Street, Barenaked Ladies, Leona Lewis, Fifth Harmony's Ally Brooke, Bazzi, Ashley Tisdale, and Carly Pearce. Macy’s 92nd Thanksgiving Day Parade kicks off at 9 AM on November 22.
