“These guys are already planning their comebacks!”

Charlie Rose, the famed television journalist who was accused of sexually harassing eight women, is now planning his #MeToo come back by hosting a show with the men who allegedly did the accusing. The report comes from Page Six, that says Tina Brown revealed the news this week saying she was asked to produce the series. “These guys are already planning their comebacks!" she said during a WNYC Q&A. Tina turned down the offer, not remembering who was behind the production, that would interview acts like Louis C.K. and Matt Lauer.

Sources say the project was pitched as a Netflix show, but someone close to the company assures the publication the streaming service is not involved.

After eight women came forward with sexual assault allegations against Charlie in November 2017, it then prompted nine more women to come forward after. The women claimed Charlie would walk around naked in front of them, grope their breasts and genital areas, and make inappropriate comments.

“It is essential that these women know I hear them and that I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed. I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate," he told the Washington Post. "I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken."

To this day numerous men have been publicly accused of sexual assault. After Harvey Weinstein, it was a floodgate of stars like Nelly, Aziz Ansari, Ben Affleck, Danny Masterson, Russell Simmons, James Franco, Kevin Spacey and more.
