During a stop on his 24K Magic Tour at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, Bruno Mars wrung in his 33 birthday. The Hawaiian born singer took some time away from his tour related obligations to mark the occasion with his peers and some cake. In a video posted to his social networking accounts, Bruno proved that he was celebrating the day in a major way - featuring a personalized performance by non-other than Ed Sheeran.
In the hilarious video, Sheeran can be seen serenading Bruno with a guitar, putting a twist on the traditional birthday song. "Happy birthday dear two-time Superbowl performing Bruno," Sheeran sings as Mars enjoys a taste of one the many cakes from the exuberant display in front of him. It seems Sheeran's rendition was worthy of an encore, and the curly haired "Finesse" singer playfully demanded that Sheeran sing it again. Bruno jokingly captioned the clip, "You know you’ve made it when you can hire Ed Sheeran to sing you Happy Birthday. ExtraForever! #HappyBrunoMarsDay!"
Several of Bruno's famous peers also wished him a happy birthday. Messages came in from television show host Ellen DeGeneres, producer Missy Elliot, and tour mate, Charlie Wilson who shared, "Happy birthday to the man of the hour, the playa of all playas, the man drippin in the #24KMagic, Mister @BrunoMars! Been having an amazing time on tour with you! Hope you have a day full of blessings and fun! You deserve every bit of it."
