Jet Life has officially reunited. Today, Curren$y, Trademark Da Skydiver, and Young Roddy have joined forces for the first time in nearly five years, taking to blissful production from 206derek, B-Eazy the DJ, and SethFromAbove. The song itself kicks off on an immediate note, with an unusually up-tempo beat, contrary to Spitta's recent modus operandi. The rapper is no less capable, however, as he spits a rapid-fire flow, rapping lines like "shaking my tracks, collecting my racks, and planning attacks wherever you at, we'll put them hitters on your back."
Young Roddy handles the second verse, his silky voice blending nicely with the instrumental. "Puff that pass that, even though the doctor says it's bad for me," he raps. "Mama say I'm hard-headed, had to take a chance for that cash money." Trademark closes out the banger with a laid-back verse, matching pace while exuding an effortless swagger. "Bossed up like Scarface, first you get the money than the power," he raps, before the song concludes at a modest three minutes, give or take.
Quotable Lyrics
Shaking my tracks, collecting my racks,
And planning attacks wherever you at
We'll put them hitters on your back
Hitters'll never get to relax
