The Adidas Ultra Boost, one of the brand's most popular silhouettes, will reportedly return in OG form this Fall, just three years after the beloved sneaker made its debut.
As of now, it appears at least four colorways of the Adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 will be releasing, including the OG "Black/Purple" colorway and a Cream rendition as well as white multicolor and navy multicolor options. Each of the sneakers will feature the original Ultra Boost 1.0 primeknit pattern on the upper along with a white Boost midsole and a black rubber outsole.
Rumors suggest all four sneakers will be headed to retailers once again in November or December of this year for the retail price of $180.
A recent report revealed that Adidas' sales in North America grew by 16% in the quarter through June, and Adidas execs credited the beloved Ultra Boost sneakers, which grew by nearly 50%, for having a “significant impact” on its strong quarter. “We’ve built one of the most converted franchises in our industry in the Ultra Boost. This continues with this franchise growing close to 50 percent in the past quarter. So we are a long way from being saturated," Chief Executive Kasper Rorsted said on an earnings call, according to the Footwear News.
