“A lot of things are offensive."

CNN, NBC, and Fox are among a group of television networks that pulled an anti-immigration advertisement by Donald Trump. According to the New York Post, the advertisement "paints a doomsday scenario in which an “invasion” of a few thousand Central America asylum seekers- many of them women and children traveling in a series of caravans — supposedly posed a dire threat to American democracy." When America's President was asked about the advertisement, he got defensive detailing how it's “effective."

“A lot of things are offensive. Your questions are offensive a lot of the time,” he told the publication. NBC aired the ad during the Sunday Night Football game where the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots were playing against each other. “After further review, we recognize the insensitive nature of the ad and have decided to cease airing it across our properties as soon as possible,” a spokesperson from the network stated.

Once people viewed the offensive advertisement, many flocked to Twitter to share their disgust on the matter, including director Judd Apatow who is known for sharing his political viewpoints on social media.

"So @nbc and @Comcast aired that racist Trump caravan commercial during the football game.  Who made that decision?  How did they decide it was ok?  I am disgusted that you would air that after @cnn  refused to air it because it is explicitly racist.  Shame on you," he wrote.
