The trio made up for Nicki Minaj's absence with a high energy performance.

YG's "Big Bank" is officially his biggest hit as a lead artist, and the infectious energy of the crew track was clear in his performance on Fallon Tuesday night. Though Nicki Minaj was not around, likely due to her Queen promo run, both 2 Chainz and Big Sean came through to perform their verses. There wasn't a backing track in sight, and it made for a very memorable rendition of the track, with all three rappers having a lot of fun reciting their verses over the playful xylophone beat from DJ Mustard.

"Big Bank" jumped from 25 to 16 on this week's Hot 100, surpassing "My N***a" as the rapper's highest-charting single as a lead artist. "Don't Tell 'Em," YG's collaboration with Jeremih, peaked at No. 6 on the chart in 2014. If it continues it's rise, "Big Bank" could give him the second top ten of his career.

Stay Dangerous, YG's third studio album was released last week. It finds the rapper loosening up and getting back to the more laid-back energy of his early mixtape material as he reunites with DJ Mustard for the first time since their falling out. It features collaborations with Mozzy, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. Read our review of the project here.
