Tekashi 6ix9ine was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has caused a whole lot of trouble ever since he's emerged in the game but he insists that he "never catches L's." While that might be the case for certain scenarios, some of his past actions has been catching up to him in recent times. Last week, it was reported that Houston Police issued a warrant for his arrest after he allegedly choked out a teen in a mall. However, it looks like he was actually arrested today in his hometown of New York City.

PageSix reports that Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested earlier today for driving without a license in Brooklyn. According to their police sources, the rapper parked his red SUV in front of a fire hydrant. After he failed to produce any valid identification to the police, he gave them his government name, Daniel Hernandez, to search int heir database. Shortly after, they learned that 6ix9ine's license has been suspended. The rapper was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

Aside from his arrest, the rapper's been gearing up to release a new single in the near future. A few weeks back, he teased his new single "TATI" which is produced by Boi-1da and Spinking. He took to Instagram and hinted that it might be coming out on Sunday. Hopefully, that's the case and we'll end up having some new 6ix9ine to ride to.
