What do you think?

Ja Rule has been teasing a come back in the rap game over the past couple weeks after he informed Twitter followers that he wasn't done. "You think I’m done..." Rule said. "see you all soon!!!” alluding to the fact that he had new music on the way. While we’ve yet to receive any further updates on his possible return, Ja is definitely feeling himself as a rapper still. In fact, Rule just hopped on Twitter a little while ago and boasted about being one the most influential rappers of all-time.

“I’m one of the most influential rappers of all time…” he tweeted out on Wednesday, and he might be right. Some of y’all probably forgot Ja was once king of the game for a span of a few years. He owned the charts with hits like "Holla Holla," "Livin It Up," and the J-Lo assisted "I'm Real.”

Ja is also credited by some for being the first to both rap & sing on a record, something Drake has taken to the next level with over the years. But to many people it’s Rule that influenced all these rappers nowadays.

Of course a statement like that is purely opinionated, but it’s not as crazy as some of y’all think.

Check out the tweet (below) and let us know your thoughts on the comment. Is Ja Rule wildin’ out here or does he have a point?
