One of the fastest rising New York talents is A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Last year, people noticed his potential and knew that he could grow to be something dangerous in the rap game but it wasn't until he released the stellar The Bigger Artist that he was officially placed on everybody's radar. The debut opened many eyes to his talent, releasing a cohesive collection of music that is still impressive nearly a year later. Following up on his success, and continuing to run with the thematic gold of his given name Artist, our digital cover star has big plans for next week, introducing International Artist to the world.
Revealing the cover art earlier this week, A Boogie has now announced the official tracklist for his upcoming effort, tagging in artists from around the world to help him out. The rapper seems to have a thing for his neighbors up north, enlisting three Canadians in Jessie Reyez, Nav and Tory Lanez for the album. International Artist is set to open with A Boogie's collaboration with Nigerian artist Davido, "Way Too Fly," moving into tracks with Kap G, Jay Alvarez, and Brit Kojo Funds. Clocking in at eight tracks, the album should be easy enough to dive into, following Kanye West's lead of publishing shorter albums.
With A Boogie on a quick-paced rise, it will be fascinating to see where he takes his next album. Following up The Bigger Artist will be difficult but the 22-year-old has all the talent he needs to top it.
