Termanology and Statik Selektah kept the pure hip-hop sound flowing with their joint project Still 1982 this past November. One of the standout tracks on the album was "F**k Ya LyfeSTyle," which features guest appearances from Beanz and Nems. There's just something about the slick delivery of Beanz that is reminiscent of that early Rah Digga sound. She steals the show on this one, and brings her lyrical prowess to life alongside her to male companions in the "F**k Ya LyfeSTyle" music video.
Directed by WatsynBeatz, the visuals for the single keep things gutter. Nems, Beanz, and Term all spit their bars from less than pristine looking locations, using the street atmosphere to help hammer home the lyrics. The rapping trio almost looks as if they were filming a cypher in their hood, allowing the bars to speak for themselves instead of offering distracting visuals.
