Hood tales.

Meek Mill takes viewers to the ravaged streets of poverty in his latest music video. He stepped out of prison a changed man, and although he's moving like a free man, his battle for justice is far from over. With the weight of a pending trial looming over his head, Meek took to the studio to construct Championships. Hailed as one of the best, if not the best, Meek project, Championships is really an in-depth look into the mind of a young Black man suffering from PTSD. From the streets of Philly to the jail cell, Meek has seen horrors akin to what a soldier sees at war. With the help of director Will Ngo, Meek paints a picture of what those horrors look and feel like

"Trauma" is one of the realest tracks on Championships, and Meek dives right into delivering his message for the visuals. A little boy in the hood appears to represent the youthful energy of Meek, and his innocence contrasts the madness going on around him. Scenes of death, despair, and poverty punctuate the video, displaying a potent example of a traumatic experience.
