The Miami Heat are sticking with the popular "Miami Vice" theme for their City Edition Nike uniforms this season, but this time around the unis come in black. The Heat today introduced the new jerseys, which serve as a follow up to the white rendition that was the best-selling third jersey in NBA history, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
Miami will don the new threads for a total of 14 "Vice Night" games this season, beginning with Friday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers. Fans looking to get their hands on the special edition uniforms will be happy to know that the team is prepared to meet the demand.
"We're ready to meet demand this time," McCollough said, per ESPN. "We have four locations in town for fans to buy and anyone who orders online will see the traditional delivery time this year."
According to ESPN, McCollough wouldn't say how many Vice jerseys were sold last year, but he noted that more Vice jerseys were sold than the City Edition versions of the other 29 teams combined.
