Meek Mill's "Championships" introduction lands some visuals.

Meek Mill has developed a reputation as somewhat of an "intro" specialist, a notion propelled by the now-iconic status of "Dreams And Nightmares." That's not to say his album openers trump the follow-up cuts by a wide margin, but merely that Meek knows how to set a tone.

On that note, Meek came through to set the new week off right, dropping some new visuals for his Championships introductory cut. Of course, the Phil Collins sample sets an immediately atmospheric tone, prompting listeners to air-drum the fill accordingly. Meek wastes little space on the track itself, and makes sure to keep the vibe alive in the accompanying "Intro" video.

Minimalism is the theme in the blue-tinted, shadow-cast clip. While the cinematography is hardly flashy, director Kid Art makes sure to keep Meek as the central focus, as he stands at the forefront of his loyal supporters. It's at once a coalescence of "us against the world" and "strength in numbers," befitting of "Intro's" central message. Peep the video now, and be sure to support Meek's Championships with another listen
