Lil Durk's gritty video concept is a natural fit.

Lil Durk's long-anticipated Signed to the Streets 3 slotted in nicely next to glossier projects from artists like Lil Baby, NBA Youngboy, etc. The project was the fruit he bore after stammering off without a contract. Of course, Durk would eventually find on the expanded Interscope roster, who shuttled him off to their Alamo subdivision in an advisory role. With that said, Durk isn't ready to turn the page on a project he worked so hard to complete.

The music video for "I Know" directed by Rock Davis had to be handled with perfection, because as Durk said himself, "This my favorite song off my album." The video filmed on location in New York City, tells the story of a hero's welcome, after a period of dislocation.

In Lil Durk's case, New York City is just a conduit to a story rooted in his Chicago upbringing. But as is often the case, tales of oppression borrow from a universal language that belongs to everyone beset with the same conditions. Check out "I Know" and give us your thoughts on Signed to the Streets 3 if you haven't already.
