President Donald Trump holds an African American History Month listening session attended by Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison Omarosa Manigault (L) and other officials in the Roosevelt Room of the White House on February 1, 2017 in Washington, DC.
Trump is denying that he has ever used the N-word.

The battle between former White House employee Omarosa and Donald Trump is heating up. Since Omarosa was fired by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, she has been making an uproar. The reality TV star turned politician released the book Unhinged, where she slams Trump and exposes her experiences in the White House. Omarosa also went on to claim that she heard a recording of Trump using the N-word while on set for The Apprentice, the reality show that both of the outspoken figures starred on.

Trump took to Twitter on Monday to deny that any such tapes exist. He references the producer of The Apprentice, during his argument. "@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa," Trump tweeted. "I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up. Look at her MANY recent quotes saying...such wonderful and powerful things about me - a true Champion of Civil Rights - until she got fired. Omarosa had Zero credibility with the Media (they didn’t want interviews) when she worked in the White House. Now that she says bad about me, they will talk to her. Fake News!" His latest insults also include calling Omarosa a "dog." "When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog," he ranted.

Actor Tom Arnold is said to be in possession of the tapes currently, and he took to Twitter as well to claim that Trump is lying. "Seven @MarkBurnettTV Apprentice Employees gave statements about @realdonaldtrump saying multiple "n" words on the set of @ApprenticeNBC & 100 other horrible things," he wrote. "I spoke to 2 Executive Producers & Mark Burnett in person. They all said Trump's a liar & there is #TrumpTapes." Soon after his statement, The White House's released a response.

Lynne Patton, a senior official in the Trump Administration, released the statement. "The individual who Omarosa confirmed to me as having played the second-hand audio recording to her last year confirmed that they have no tape, never had possession of a tape, never claimed to have possession of a tape and never played such a tape for Ms. Manigault-Newman," she wrote. "Bill Pruitt is a mutual friend. I just spoke to Bill Pruitt tonight before releasing this statement.
He confirmed to me (before Hardball had even gone off the air) that he does NOT have an audio tape of President Trump using the “N-word” and has NEVER had an audio tape of President Trump using the 'N-word.' Period." We'll have to wait and see who is telling the truth in this situation, but a public airing of the alleged tapes would set the record straight.
