Charles Barkley has made it clear that he views Draymond Green as one of the most annoying players in the NBA, even wishing that someone would punch the Warriors' All-Star forward in the face. Barkley has since apologized for that comment, but Draymond is still on his mind.
Following Golden State's 41-point victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 3 last night, Kevin Durant joined the Inside The NBA crew where he was asked by Barkley, "is Draymond as annoying all day long as he is on TV?" Without cracking a smile, KD told Chuck to go downstairs and ask him face-to-face. Naturally, Shaq chimed in, "He ain't gonna do it ... He's gonna apologize to him."
Barkley persisted in an effort to get another answer from Durant but his response remained the same, "I mean, he's downstairs, you can go ask him."
Durant was solid once again for the Warriors in their decisive Game 3 victory, scoring 25 points on 9-for-19 shooting, in addition to six rebounds and six assists, but it was Steph Curry who stole the show with a game-high 35 points. Draymond Green added 10 points, 17 rebounds and six assists, while continuing to take up prime real estate in Barkley's brain.
The Warriors will look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Rockets tomorrow night when they return to Oracle Arena for a pivotal Game 4.
