British designer Jonathan Anderson, more commonly known as JW Anderson, has teamed up with Converse once again for a new "Toy" Collection, consisting of four vibrant iterations of the Converse Chuck 70, including two low-tops and two high-tops.
All four of the the “Toy” Chuck 70s feature glossy patent leather uppers, semi-translucent midsoles, and thick fuzzy laces that are inspired by the colorful stucco houses of San Fransicso. Additional details include bright rubber outsoles and Anderson’s initals embossed on the lateral side of the heel.
The collaborative collection will be available at a pop-up shop called Toy Gallery, which will run from July 19 to 22 at 20 Beak Street in Soho, displaying works by the Los Angeles-based artist Delfin Finley inspired by the Converse x J.W. Anderson Chuck 70 styles. The collection will also be sold via converse.com on July 19.
The high-top Chuck 70 will retail for $150, while the low-top Chuck 70 Oxford will go for $140.
