Kanye West Files YEEZUS Trademark For Kitchen Appliances & More: Report

Kanye West is reportedly trying to make more than music and clothes.

Kanye West is back on Twitter, for better or for worse, and he's been dropping tidbits of information pertaining to his creative mindset. Whether it be release dates on albums or plans for his Yeezy brand, he's been revealing a lot about his future plans. A few hours a go, the rapper took to Twitter to clear up some alleged "fake news." The rapper said, "Yeezy will become the biggest apparel company in human history by working with the most genius level talents and creating product at an affordable price." And while he's likely on his way to making that happen, it looks like he's also about to dive into kitchen appliances as well.

According to TMZ, Kanye West has reportedly filed documents to trademark YEEZUS. Apparently, his legal team is making an attempt to trademark YEEZUS in order from him to use it for pretty much everything. According to court docs, the rapper is working to use YEEZUS for things from athletics, cosmetics, kitchen appliances, bedding, games and.... press campaign buttons (Yeezy 2024?). The rapper also tweeted that he needed to fill in 160 positions by the end of the year. From what the report says, Kanye will definitely need that many people on board to help bring his ideas to fruition. 

The rapper first filed the documents in 2014 before putting it aside in 2017. The rapper also recently said that he hired two full time lawyers on his team so it's safe to say they already have a boatload of work to do. 

Kanye also filed documents for a new Cali company, Yezzy Offshore Inc. earlier in the month.
