A second accuser has spoken out about a similar incident, detailing what happened while remaining anonymous. Nelly's girlfriend Shantel Jackson seems to think all will be okay at the end of the day, joking in Instagram comments about the lawsuits and seemingly laughing off Nelly's involvement in the alleged crimes. While the case remains unsolved, first accuser Monique Green has shed some light on how the event changed her life.
In court papers obtained by Bossip, Greene is claiming that she was forced to resign from her job as a nightclub hostess after her work hours were cut short by owners of the club. After her employers had found out about the incident, they allegedly wrote on their Facebook page that "it never happened," leaving her looking for work after shedding her weekend hours. Her legal team has stated that on top of the humiliation of being shunned away from her workplace in front of her friends, it directly impacted her ability to financially support herself.
Greene was 21-years-old at the time she alleges that Nelly raped her. A ruling has not been reached as of yet but we will keep an eye out for any updates in the case.
