It's been less than a year since Russ dropped his debut, self-produced album There's Really A Wolf, but his fans are still hungry for more. His fans may be in luck, however, as Russ has decided to bless the public with a mere tease of an unreleased song.
For what it's worth, the song sounds pretty hype, though we only get to hear 10-or-so seconds of it. The video is accompanied by a small illustration of a wide, afro-sporting man doing a John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever-esque dance under what I can only assume to be some kind of new age disco ball.
There's also a file name on top which reads: "SINCE I WAS B...SE)(1166)." The first part of this riddle is easy enough to solve, as a line in the song's hook goes "I've been saying, I was rich since I was broke." So we can safely assume "since I was broke" to be the first part of the title. The 'SE,' however, is much more mysterious, and hints to a longer title, or perhaps even a 2-part combined track. It's also unknown what the number 1166 refers to, if it refers to anything at all.
Luckily, we probably wont have to wait too long to get the answers to our questions, as Russ has promised that he will "perform this [song] every night." In the meantime, you can listen to the sneak preview in the Instagram post below, and let us know what you think about Russ' new song.
