The online multiplayer action role-playing video game Fallout 76 has been garnering mass media as the date of its official release approaches.
The game, developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, will take players into the retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic universe first popularized by the forthcoming version's predecessor, Fallout 4. The highly-anticipated product, expected to be officially released on November 14, has reportedly already released bu a beta version that is currently being tested by select gamers. The minds behind Fallout 76 have evidently commissioned a team of specialists to bring the game to the public's attention with an impressive and far-reaching promotional campaign. Only recently, Philadelphia 76ers forward Markelle Fultz was pictured wearing Fallout basketball jersey.
In perhaps one of the more unexpected promotional moves, Fallout announced that Rick and Morty, characters from the widely popular Adult Swim cartoon of the same name will reportedly participate in a Fallout 76 live stream, alongside Maryland rapper, Logic and internet personality, Ninja. On their official website, Bethesda announced, "We’re taking the biggest streamer on the planet, a once-in-a-generation rap talent, the most beloved animated comedy duo of our time, and forcing them to survive together in the wasteland of Appalachia. The good news is you don’t have to travel to an alternate dimension to find out what happens!"
The stream is scheduled to take place on November 8 on Twitch and Microsoft’s Mixer platform.
