Famous Dex, despite being one of the weirdest and most eclectic rappers in the game right now, also has an impressive work ethic. Despite having just dropped his debut album, Dex Meets Dexter, as well as releasing a whole mess of songs and guest features, Dex has already announced a brand new EP, I Did It, dropping next month.
Dex went to to Instagram yesterday for the announcement, posting a photo of himself chilling on a normal stairwell. The caption of the post reads, "'Father, thank You for Your abundant grace and mercy. Today I look for Your goodness. I look for Your favor and blessings. I set my heart on You. Show me Your love in a new way today in Jesus’ name. Amen.' 🧟♂️🤐⭐️⚔️🐁."
He then gets to the part that got everyone excited, "6-8-2k18 “I Did it” Mixtape."
It appears that fans will only gave to wait a few short weeks before they get to appreciate a new crop of Famous Dex songs. It's really quite impressive that Dex is able to put out so much music so quickly, especially considering that by the time the tape is actually released he'll be in the middle of his "Dex Meets Dexter Tour."
Of course, it's probably better that he keep his hype as high as possible, since his incredibly expensive weed habits might be hurting his bank account a bit. Are you excited for new music, or should he go back to the drawing board? Check out the whole announcement from Famous Dex down below.
