Aaron Rodgers continues to surprise us all.
After coming back from a knee injury, the 34-year old quarterback led his Green Bay Packers to an insane comeback victory of 24-23 over the Chicago Bears Sunday night.
Trailing 20-0 in the third quarter, it now marks the fifth time in franchise history that the Packers have comeback from a 20-point deficit to bring home a win. Going 20-for-30, Rodger threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns.
On the flip side, Chicago certainly put up a fight with defensive lineman Khalil Mack tallying up a sack, a force fumble, a fumble recovery, an interception, and a touchdown all before halftime. In the second quarter, Rodgers was carted off to the locker room after a sack took him down, but it obviously couldn’t hold him.
In the fourth quarter, the Super Bowl MVP led three touchdown drives, kicking things off with a 39-yard touchdown pass to Geronimo Allison. He’d soon toss for 12-yards to Davante Adams to get the game to 20-17 before pushing past the Bears with a 75-yard touchdown pass to Randall Cobb.
Next week, the Bears will host the Seahawks on Monday Night Football while the Packers will welcome the Vikings to Lambeau Field. Until then, relive tonight’s madness with the top reactions of the night by way of your trusty Twitter community.
