Mark Ruffalo says "Avengers 4" is still under construction.

Mark Ruffalo is no stranger to spilling the tea about Avengers films, and this time around, he’s given us some more to chew on without completely spoiling things.

It was while he paid a visit to the The Marvelists podcast that Ruffalo, who portrays Dr. Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, explained that while Avengers 4 was shot immediately after Infinity War, there are still many kinks to work out.

"Well we're doing re-shoots starting in September," he says. "Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don't even know what it's gonna be yet. We're not just doing re-shoots, we're going to finish the movie, which we really didn't get to finish totally when we left it last year."

According to Ruffalo, a lot of the re-shoots involve completely changing a scene for improvement.

"Some of it is happening while we're there” he adds. “It's pretty amazing. And we'll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and re-shoot it cause we want to take it in another direction. It's a very living organism, even as we approach it being a locked picture, we're still working on it."

Viewers will get to watch the finished product starting on the projected release date of May 4th, 2019.
