Travis Scott's latest album Astroworld was worth the wait. The rapper delivered on his highly anticipated follow up to 2016's Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight. Over the course of the first week of its release, the sales projections increased on pretty much a daily basis and it was recently revealed that Astroworld had the second highest-opening week this year. In addition to dethroning Drake for the number one spot on the Billboard 200, every single song on his latest project has charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
Travis Scott secured seventeen positions on the Billboard Hot 100 this week as every song on Astroworld landed on the charts. Additionally, two songs off of the album made its way into the top 10. "Sicko Mode" and "Stargazing" are sitting at number 4 and 8, respectively. Despite taking Drake's spot on the Billboard 200, "In My Feelings" is still holding the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. "Butterfly Effect" re-entered the Hot 100 again at #50 after peaking at #51 in November.
Scott's latest feat on the chart makes him the fourth act to have multiple songs debut in the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Drake's done it three times, including once with Scott for the song "Portland" off of More Life.
In other Travis Scott related news, he announced the inaugural "Astroworld" festival last week. The festival is set to take place on November 17th in Houston.
