Yung Bans croons over synth waves.

Today, Yung Bans fans are officially living good, as the rapper has ushered in three new loosies for the masses. Unfortunately, "ETA" stands out as the weak link of the chain, a throwaway in nearly every sense of the word. The instrumental wanders in a haze of warbling synthesizers, proving Bans with little to no room to ride the beat; instead, it simply feels as if he's doing constant battle with his chosen musical backdrop, allowing minimal opportunity for melodic development.

Lyrically, Bans opts to remain in his wheelhouse, rapping about pornographic fantasies and recreational drug abuse. It's not to say such themes are inherently difficult to pull off, but given the saturation, one must consider applying a little bit more effort than we find here. Of course, fans will likely find something to appreciate about "ETA." If not, there's always an additional pair of Bans drops, which you can check out here and here.
