Worn by Michael Jordan early in his career, the Tinker Hatfield-designed Nike Trainer SC II serves as inspiration for a brand new Air Jordan 6 colorway that is scheduled to make its retail debut tomorrow, October 6, for the retail price of $190.
The special edition "Tinker" 6s feature a white leather upper accompanied by grey nubuck overlays, hits of navy & infrared on the tongue, midsole and heel tab, with the familiar icy blue outsole beneath it all. All Major retailers like Foot Locker, Footaction, Eastbay and Champs Sports will have the kicks in stock.
Jordan Brand unveiled a number of new Air Jordans earlier this week as part of their 2018 Men's Holiday Collection, most of which draw on inspiration from other classic Nikes like this "Tinker" Air Jordan 6. For instance, there's an Air Jordan 3 designed to resemble the "Chlorophyll" Nike Trainer 1, a Nike Air Raid II inspired Air Jordan 8, and an Air Jordan 10 "Air Huarache Lite."
Each of the new Air Jordans will be releasing in the coming weeks but first up is the Air Jordan 6.
