Dallas Cowboys Wide-out Terrance Williams was taken into custody early this morning for public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor. Williams was under the influence when he hit light pole while at the helm of his 2017 Lamborghini. Police recovered the automobile close to the Dallas Cowboys practice faciility in Frisco, Texas. He was released from the Frisco Detention Center on a $369 bond, having fled after committing the accident. Law enforcement officials convened at his place of residence to make the arrest. Since the damages to the pole were higher than $200, his charges were elevated to a Class B offense. No charges have been filed since the initial booking and his release.
Terrance Williams has been rehabbing a broken foot for the better part of the offseason. The Wide Receiver had gone under the knife to repair broken tissue and has not participate in light of heavy contact with his teammates. Mini Camp is set to begin in June and there's hope Williams will ready to go by then. This being an important offseason for Williams as he tried to make his disappointing 2017 season a distant memory. Williams only managed 53 passes for a career-low 568 yards, falling short of recording a single touchdown on the season.
