Obama makes a great point.

Barack Obama is miraculous to watch. Whether you like the man or not, it's hard to argue against his mastery of words and his penchant for patience. The former president flexed his famous patience with a bit of a quip on Friday, as he delivered a speech in support of Florida Democrat Andrew Gillum. Gillum is running for governor of the southern state, and Obama showed up to help bolster support.

Obama addressed a number of topics during his speech, such as immigration and Trump's plan to dismantle the 14th amendment. The amendment grants those who are born in the US citizenship, among other laws that pertain to becoming a citizen. Trump has expressed his motive to end birthright citizenship for children born to non-citizens. “I'm assuming that they recognize that a president doesn't get to decide on his own who's an American citizen and who's not," stated Obama. "That's not how the Constitution of the United States works. That's not how the Bill of Rights works. That's not how our democracy works.”

As expected, Obama's anti-Trump remarks rubbed conservatives the wrong way. One conservative in the crowd at the rally began to heckle the former president, and caused a stir that caught Obama's attention. After brushing off the heckler the first time, the agitator chimed in once again later during the speech. As usual, Obama was patient with the protestor. "Hold on a second," stated Obama as he paused from his speech to address the heckler. Even to his opponents, Obama shows respect. "Sir," he stated calmly as the crowd began to chant "bring it home."

"One of the things I never understood was, why, if you support the other guy, you'd come to my rally," Obama replied to the heckler. He makes a great point. "Go to their rally! Go talk about what you're for, don't come hollering here."
