For young rappers, getting a tattoo goes beyond a rite of passage. Many in the up-coming generation of rap stars have become walking canvases, inking their faces with the same frequency as one might ink their arms. Lil Pump, who currently boasts two star tattoos beside his eye, recently added another piece of ink to his expansive selection. Over the weekend, Pump paid homage to the late XXXTentacion, tattooing "LLJ" on his arm, while X's "Moonlight" bangs in the background (according to a report, the video below is stripped of sound). "LLJ" stands for Long Live Jaseh, X's real name.
More practical than some may give him credit, Pump can be seen wielding the tattoo gun himself, with a surprisingly deft touch. He joins the likes of Lil Xan, Ski Mask The Slump God, Denzel Curry, and Wifisfuneral, who have all memorialized X on their skin.
While X is no longer with us, fans can still look forward to hearing his voice again; the rapper has an extensive vault, including an unreleased collaboration with Lil Pump, as previously previewed on YouTube. While it's not clear whether or not that will ever see the light away, it's entirely possible that it surfaces on Pump's Harvard Dropout, whenever that drops.
