More bad news for the Cavs.

The 1-7 Cleveland Cavaliers will be without All-Star forward Kevin Love for multiple weeks moving forward.

According to reports, Love underwent surgery on his injured left big toe and is expected to be sidelined for approximately six weeks. Love, 30, has missed Cleveland's last three games because of the injury but he has reportedly been dealing with pain and discomfort since the pre-season.

Still, Love is hoping he'll be back on the floor sooner than later.

"I would like to get back obviously as soon as possible," said Love, who has been wearing a walking boot on his left foot for the past few days. "I had high hopes for the season. I know it's been off to a really rocky start, but the more I can be out there and help this team, the better. So I'm hoping to get out there as quickly as possible and hoping that it's only two or three weeks."

In four games this season, Love leads the team in points and rebounds per game with 19 and 13.5, respectively. However, he is shooting just 32% from the field, including 29% from behind the three-point line. Love inked a four-year, $120 million contract this past summer to stay with the Cavs after LeBron signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Cavs will kick-off a two-game road trip Saturday night in Charlotte, followed by a Monday night game against the Orlando Magic.
