Snoop Dog (L) performs with Damon Albarn of Gorillaz on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival 2010 on June 25, 2010 in Glastonbury, England.
The song will feature on their as-of-yet unannounced new album.

While playing a show in Chile last week, Gorillaz's singer Damon Albarn opted to present the concert goers with a special surprise: a brand new song featuring the Doggfather himself.

The song, titled "Hollywood" will be featured on the new Gorillaz album that, according to Albarn, doesn't actually exist.

"If you go and tell anyone that we're putting out an album very soon, then I'll deny it," says Albarn. "Because I didn't say that."

Obviously he's being coy here, as he jumps right into the new song, asking the fans to figure out who wasn't at the concert that was featured on the song.

Lo and behold, midway through the song, Snoop Dogg's voice comes through clear over the speaker, to the excitement of the fans in the audience.

"Hollywood", which was first mentioned off-hand in a Billboard interview from last year, was written for the city of it's namesake, or really, Albarn's feelings about it. While only rough footage of the song exists, Albarn is concerned with issues of jealously and vindictiveness on the song.

This isn't the first collaboration between Gorillaz and Snoop Dogg, as the two originally teamed up for the intro track "Welcome To The World Of The Plastic Beach" on the group's third album, fittingly, Plastic Beach. Gorillaz also appeared on the song "Sumethin Like This Night" on Snoop's eleventh album, Doggumentary.

Check out the footage of the live performance below. Do the Gorillaz have a hit on their hands, or should they wait a bit longer before dropping a new album?
