LeBron James has shown time and again that he won't simply "Shut up and dribble," as he continues to stand up for what he believes in and show support for those who are making an effort to create change.
Following the Los Angeles Lakers' 128-123 victory against the Sacramento Kings Thursday night, LeBron took to instagram to share some photos of his pre-game 'fit which included a black long-sleeve Nike shirt with "Kaepernick" written across the back. He captioned the post, "KAEP Drip #MoreThanAnAthlete."
Speaking with the media after last night's game, Bron said, "I wore a Kaepernick shirt tonight, one, because it's Nike and I'm a Nike guy. And then, two, I support Kap. I've always supported Kap and what he stands for and what he believes in."
The four-time NBA MVP's post has already gathered nearly 1.1 million likes, including double-taps from NFL stars such as Odell Beckham Jr., Todd Gurley and Dez Bryant.
