It's been a major year for Ty Dolla $ign but unfortunately, he did find himself in trouble with the law. The singer was hit with numerous drug-related charges earlier this year in Atlanta. However, it looks like Ty Dolla is ready to fight the charges as he hired a well-reputable attorney to represent him.

According to The Blast, Ty Dolla $ign has hired Steve Sadow to represent him in his drug possession case. Sadow is known for representing T.I. in his criminal case where he was accused of simple assault, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct after a heated argument with a security guard in the gated community in Georgia, where he lives. However, prosecutors dropped the case recently. Usher also hired Sadow to help him in his legal battle against a Georgia woman who sued him for allegedly giving her herpes.

Ty Dolla $ign was arrested in early September when he was stopped alongside six other people near Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in Atlanta. Police claimed they smelled weed coming from the car which prompted them to search the vehicle. Authorities ultimately discovered marijuana and cocaine.

Ty was arrested on possession of marijuana less than an ounce, felony possession of cocaine, as well as possession and use of drug-related objects. The six other individuals in the vehicle were released without any charges.

Ty was later released on $1K bail.
